When i checked reviews on this forum about contabo most of them where positive.
Joodle: joodle was a previous client of contabo he opt for vps hosting with them and he has used their service for 6 month without experiencing any downtime, but he didn't seems to like contabo that much as compared to the other vps hosting providers but they are expensive though.
I think the biggest plus point of contabo is their price with other providing vps for very high margin they have kept their price low if you want to focus on saving and cost cutting for your business you can move your website to their servers.

As this is an unbiased review i have found couple of negative reviews too about this host here is an interesting case.
JamesIT a user from webhostingtalk says that his account was terminated due to DOS Attack he has also attached email which they have send to him the company didn't ask for compensation as they usually do.
Although i would have with jamesIT side if they asked him for compensation because attack didn't have done by him so he is not rightfully the reason behind the attack.
Another thing is to resolve such DOS attack would have cost around 1000-6000$ dollar from the company side which is expensive and since he was paying around 220$/ month for the server terminating account was the last option for the company.
